Wisconsin Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice in Wausau for Press Event
At a news conference Wednesday morning at the First Universalist Unitarian Church in downtown Wausau, Cathy Thompson, Wisconsin Director of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, led a group of 3 local clergy in a discussion of the issue of the protests that are happening outside of the Family Planning Health Services (FPHS) facility in Wausau.
There were many present who support the services FPHS provides. A few of the anti-choice protestors were present. They were silent at the newsconference.
It is this writer’s opinion that there was such a rich array of religious thought presented that it would be hard to have a comeback such as the protestors are used to giving. Please read further for the text presented.
