It snowed really hard and fast on Thursday afternoon, about the same time as this group showed up to pray for an hour. All told we got about four inches. This group usually gathers at our facility on Thursdays at 3 p.m. The size of the group varies and they’re usually more spread out and scattered across the sidewalk, like in these picture I took on January 29, 2009.
I’m not sure if they’re standing in such an orderly way this Thursday because of the snow, the attention they’ve been getting from the community, they’re concern for safety, a combination of these factors or something entirely different. I guess only time will tell. When I left today, the demonstrators were wearing their hunting gear to ward off the cold and snow.
